Registration of a thesis (B.Sc., Biology / Biotechnology)
Before starting your work on your bachelor thesis, please submit the completed form for the registration of the project-oriented internship in methodology to the examination board. As soon as this form has been signed, you can start your work. At the end of the internship you submit it to the board of examiners together with the confirmation of your work.
After you have collected the registration form for your thesis from the Central Examination Office (ZPA), submit the completed form during the examination board's office hours. Your processing time starts at the end of your methodological internship. The form will be sent by the examination board to the ZPA.

After you have picked up the form for registering your work at the Central Examination Office (ZPA), submit the completed form during the examination board's office hours. The form will be sent to the ZPA by the board of examiners. You will be informed of the date of issue when you submit your application.
Application for external work (B.Sc., M.Sc., Biology / Biotechnology / Ecotoxicology)
If you plan to do your work externally, you must apply to the selection board before registering and starting work. Use the appropriate form and submit it during the examination board's office hours. The processing time is usually one week.
This request does not constitute the registration of your thesis.
Further information on how to register an external dissertation can be obtained during the consultation hours of the departmental student advisory service.
Application for extension of the deadline for submission of a thesis (B.Sc., M.Sc., Biology / Biotechnology / Ecotoxicology)
Please submit an informal application with justification and agreement of your first examiner, as well as all relevant information (mat.-no., study programme, planned deadline) during the examination board's office hours. Please allow sufficient time for this. You should submit your application at least 3 weeks before the deadline. You then submit the approved application for extension to the Central Examination Office at the same time as the late submission of your paper (B.Sc., M.Sc.).
